Operations Manager

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manages the Office and Plant Operations. Conceptualizes, plans, reviews, monitors, implements programs, and strategy decisions. Recommends systems and procedures of VW. Ensures the effective implementation of Company’s programs and policies.

2. Oversees the Daily Operations of the Plant. Have an in-depth comprehension of the on-going projects and prepare complete checkpoints to ensure good quality products for the duration of fabrication works. Ensures all checkpoints are followed and executed; Exhausts all avenues in accomplishing high-quality standards to all fabrication works. Recommends additional workflows to guarantee the quality output of works. Ensures safety and efficiency of the facility.

3. Review Project Contracts. Ensures that CSFP proposals have accurate costs, inclusions, exclusions,  and terms. Reviews project contracts from the customers and identify critical information,  expectations, and responsibilities.

4. Oversees Project Deliveries. Ensures that the agreed delivery date with the client will be met. Formulates proper and acceptable repair works for any items found defective or imperfections within the required fabrication schedule. Ensures all finished goods to be free from all faults and meets the required specifications before packing and delivery to clients. Works directly with the Plant Manager to determine project challenges, whether that be individual  employee  or any other issues  affecting  the schedule;

5. Oversees Materials Deliverables to the Plant. Oversees the purchasing department and ensures that material deliverables are on time in line with the project schedules.

6. Communicates Directly to the Customer. Accompanies Marketing Staff on bidding exercises from time to time to understand and clear all matters surrounding the issue of the project involved. Ensures that only pertinent questions are raised to cover best bid estimates; Answers all project related questions of the customers.

7. Submits Various Reports. Accomplishes accurate reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and if necessary annual) on all projects including the record of how the projects progress and what problems encountered and solutions implemented. Ensures accuracy of information.

8. Interacts with Accounting. Review and analyze all expense report and make recommendation to Management to cut cost.

9. Oversees the following:

 Recruitment of Plant and Office Personnel

 Inventory of Materials/Warehouse

 Timekeeping

 Maintenance

 Budgeting, reporting, and internal auditing

 Recommendations of equipment purchase and provide proposals

10. Interfaces effectively with immediate superior and subordinates;

11. Works with the Human Resources Manager with regards to development and implementation of Company policies and rules and regulations. Ensures the effective implementation of Company’s programs and policies;

12. Builds a company culture that encourages morale and top work performance;

13. Identifies and addresses concerns and opportunities for the company;

14. Encourages communication and coordination with the team;

15. Reviews and Monitors the work of the Fabrication, Project Management, Detailing, Purchasing, Logistics, and Safety.

16. Coordinates with the Top Management and Managers on projects and Company’s programs;

17. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the President and VP for Operations as the need arises.

Job Specifications

    • Education Requirements

Graduate of BS Civil Engineering or BS Architecture; licensed Civil Engineer or Architect is preferred; holder of a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is an advantage.

    • Work Experience

At least ten (10) years of intensive work experience in all facets of Office and Plant Operations in a managerial capacity.
