Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc., a leading provider of structural and miscellaneous fabricated steel to the Mid-Atlantic Region, today announced it has been awarded the structural and miscellaneous steel contracts for the Salisbury University Teacher Education and Technology Center (TETC).
The project, approximately 1,550 tons of structural steel, is one of the largest to be built on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in several years. The three-story facility will provide 165,000 square-feet and is slated to cost $54.7 million.
"We are pleased to be able to contribute to the building of the new Teacher Education and Technology Center (TETC), a showcase building for education in the State of Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region," said Bill Lo, President of Crystal Steel.
"This is also great job for us because it protects our 'home turf' since it is just down the road from our headquarters, and it gives us a chance to work with Holder Construction, #57 on ENR's list of the Top 400 contractors in the US."
