Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc., a leading provider of structural and miscellaneous fabricated steel to the Mid-Atlantic Region, today announced its engineering center in Manila, the Philippines now exceeds 40 detailers.
"We opened the center with a handful of staff about 3 years ago," said Bill Lo, President of Crystal Steel. "Since then we have seen constant improvement in both the quality and quantity of services provided by our engineering center and have been growing it aggressively as our base business here in the US has grown."
"We have yet to see a limit to the pool of available talent, and find that our Philippine employees are not only up to the task, but dedicated to the company's success and the quality of their work in a way that is refreshing to see."
Crystal Steel's engineering center is taking on additional tasks in addition to steel detailing. The center provides steel multing and ordering, bills of materials, change order research, and soon will be doing estimating take-offs.
"We continue to probe to find ways for the Manila facility to support and expand the success of our US business," said Lo.
